Staffed by volunteers and stocked with new and gently used donations from the community, our donation center and retail store offer everything from furniture and housewares to name-brand clothing and accessories. Every Neighbor we serve through Cornerstone NCT is eligible to receive a voucher to shop for donated items — and everyone in the community is invited to come and discover some one-of-a-kind items at affordable prices. One hundred percent of our proceeds support our mission of empowerment.

We are in the process of consolidating our donation center and retail store into a single location. Until then, here’s where to find what you’re looking for:

We cannot accept donations at the West Broadway location; please visit our donation center at 304 East First Street to drop off your items during regular donation hours, or call 469.288.2211 to schedule a pickup for large items.

Cornerstone NCT offers a complimentary pickup service for donations of furniture or other large items will not fit into your car. Please call 469.288.2211 to schedule a pickup time.

All items must be ready for pick up in your driveway on the day of your appointment and should be easy for two people to load. Smaller items must be boxed or bagged. During inclement weather, items may be left in your garage, easily accessible.


Items We Can’t Accept

We do NOT accept hazardous, broken, nonworking, soiled, water-soaked, damaged, or recalled items of any kind. Items with missing parts will also not be accepted. The following items are specifically excluded from our donation center:

  • Air conditioners
  • Armoires
  • Automobile parts
  • Car seats
  • Carpet or padding
  • Children’s swimming pools
  • Computers over five years old
  • Gas-powered equipment
  • Golf clubs
  • Homebuilding materials
  • Kerosene and gas heaters
  • Large entertainment centers
  • Large exercise equipment
  • Mattresses or box springs
  • Nonworking appliances
  • Paint or any chemical
  • Playpens
  • Plumbing supplies
  • Swing sets or trampolines
  • TVs
  • Water heaters
  • Weapons of any kind (including paint and air soft guns)
