Meet Our Board Members
Chairman of the Board
Wayne has been involved with Cornerstone NCT since its beginning and has enjoyed watching the organization evolve as God has continued to bless it and open new avenues of service. Wayne believes in empowering people to be successful instead of giving them temporary fixes to their problems, and he loves to get the local community involved in serving. Wayne has a bachelor’s degree from Howard Payne University and a master’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University. He served as a worship pastor for 22 years before entering into real estate full time and becoming a top producer with RE/MAX Performance Group in Prosper, where he has lived and served the community in a variety of ways since 2008.

Cornerstone NCT has sparked some powerful moments over the years. And each time Jennifer is there to witness a Neighbor’s lightbulb moment, watch a kid smile when they open a new backpack, or celebrate a Neighbor’s new job, she is inspired to work even harder for area families who need assistance. Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services from Stephen F. Austin State University. Her professional experience includes counseling, vocational coaching, management, bookkeeping, and starting and running a nonprofit.
Chris joined the board in February 2017 after first serving as a volunteer alongside his family at our donation center. He loved the fact that they could serve together and give back to their own community, and he believes God is using Cornerstone NCT to multiply blessings, as the Neighbors who seek our support frequently give back to others. Chris has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and is working to complete his Master of Business Administration. He is a project manager and business analyst whose credentials include Certified Continuous Improvement Manager and Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional. He also serves on the boards of the Miracle League of Frisco and Collin County Myers Park.
Lane has always known his mission field was in his local community, and for years, Cornerstone NCT has been his outlet; he enjoys being part of a local organization that is affecting the lives of Neighbors we see every day. He quickly became the chairman of the Cornerstone Golf Tournament, one of our most successful fundraisers, and has been a member of the board since August 2013. Lane is an alumnus of Auburn University, where he earned a degree in marketing; he also holds an MBA from the University of Dallas. He has worked for nearly two decades in the construction industry and serves as the regional sales manager for Thompson Pipe Group Dallas.
As a familiar face who has served on a number of civic committees and commissions in Prosper and Frisco, Mark is a champion of the Cornerstone NCT mission and has been a member of our board since June 2016. Mark has a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from the University of Wyoming and earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. Mark has been active in the commercial real estate industry for over 30 years and is a principal and co-owner of Keystone Strategies USA, a commercial real estate investment firm. He also serves as president and CEO Restoration Specialists and RS Commercial Construction.
The idea of helping families break the cycle of poverty by sharing the love of Christ and giving them tools to help themselves is what attracted Becky to Cornerstone NCT, where she has served as a member of our board since December 2010. She credits her family for inspiring her to be her best, and for helping her to appreciate the value of giving back to others. She has a degree in marketing and finance from the University of Texas and worked as the fashion and marketing director for Saks Fifth Avenue for 20 years. Currently, she serves as the community relations director for St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Prosper. Becky is also on the board of the Young Men’s Service League.
As a member of the Cornerstone NCT board since May 2016, Lee is continually inspired by the powerful strategies that empower our Neighbors in need. He is a firm believer in paying off debts first, even before investing for the future — because freedom from debt is worth more than any amount that can be earned. Lee earned an accounting degree from Arizona State University, where he invested in his own gourmet cookie company, Cookie Barons, to help him pay his way through college. He is a securities and insurance Licensed Financial Planner and is the owner and CEO of Thomson Investment Group.
