Making Christmas brighter for
350 local children!
Cornerstone Christmas is one of our most favorite times of the year! Each Christmas season, our community comes together to provide gifts, food, hope, and joy to 350 local children in Celina, Prosper, Gunter & Frisco.
Local schools help identify and invite families who may benefit from Cornerstone Christmas. Families then complete an application and provide the required documentation. Once applications are reviewed, 350 children are selected to participate in the program.
And this isn't just about receiving a few presents. Our goal is to help families experience the joy of Christmas while allowing parents to choose what will make the day special for their own children.
At Cornerstone Christmas, parents shop for their children completely free of charge. Each child receives:
🎁 4 hand-picked Christmas gifts, wrapped on-site with the help of volunteers
🎄 A Christmas tree and decorations, if needed
🥫 Food for the holiday break and Christmas dinner
🧦 A stuffed Christmas stocking
👕 A cozy sweatshirt
📖 A Bible
Cornerstone Christmas takes months of preparation and is only possible because of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, community partners, and plenty of prayer.
Together, we can make Christmas morning unforgettable for 350 children right here in our community.
Be a Host Family 🤝
One of the most meaningful ways to serve at Cornerstone Christmas is by becoming a Host Family.
Host Families walk alongside a parent throughout their Cornerstone Christmas experience. You'll help them shop for their children's gifts, wrap presents with care, and carry everything to their car when they're finished.
More importantly, you'll help create a welcoming and supportive experience while honoring the privacy and dignity of every family we serve.
Individuals, couples, and families are invited to serve together. It's a wonderful way to experience the joy of giving while connecting personally with families in our community.

Volunteer at Cornerstone Christmas 🎄
It takes an incredible team of volunteers to bring Cornerstone Christmas to life!
From wrapping gifts and organizing merchandise to helping families and keeping everything running smoothly, there are plenty of ways to serve.
Before signing up, please make sure you have a Cornerstone volunteer application on file. Volunteers 18 and older must also complete a background check, which begins after the application is submitted.
Volunteer applications and background checks are valid for 3 years, so once you're approved, you'll be ready to serve at future Cornerstone events too!

Host a Drive 🎁
Bring your friends, coworkers, church, school, neighborhood, or business together and host a collection drive for Cornerstone Christmas!
Hosting a drive is super easy—and we'll provide everything you need to make it a success. We'll give you the information and resources to share with your group, so all you have to do is rally your people and start collecting!
Collection drives help us fill our Christmas store with items parents can select especially for their children.
This year, we're collecting:
🎁 New toys and gifts for children ages 5 and up
👕 New sweatshirts in youth XS through adult XXL
🎀 Wrapping supplies, including wrapping paper, tape, bows, and gift tags
Every item collected helps us serve one of the 350 children participating in Cornerstone Christmas.
