Our Program Manager, Jennifer Moreno, shares the story of a single mom who first came to Cornerstone a few years ago. After losing her job, she found new work but with less pay. With our support, she learned to budget, took on a second job, and built a small savings. She worked hard, graduated from our program, and was back on her feet.But as we all know, the rising cost of living is tough. Recently, she returned—still working two full-time jobs—but with added expenses like sending a child to college and higher insurance costs, her savings ran out.We’re walking alongside her again, helping her rebalance her budget, explore ways to increase income, and even encourage her children to pitch in with expenses.We are so proud of her resilience and determination, and grateful to be here to support her in these challenging times.This is the impact YOU make possible!
